Opening Hours

We are open again!
The JCK reopened its doors on Monday 1 June. We are very pleased to receive you again and you are very welcome. Our opening hours are as before and can be found below.

All locations of the Jewish Cultural Quarter, except for the Portuguese Synagogue, are open every day of the week. Different opening hours apply on some public holidays.

Jewish Historical Museum & Childrens Museum & National Holocaust Memorial (Hollandsche Schouwburg)

Open seven days a week from 11 AM to 5 PM. The ticket desk closes half an hour before closing time. No new visitors are admitted in the last 15 minutes before closing time.

CONSTRUCTION NATIONAL HOLOCAUST MUSEUM AND HOLLANDSCHE SCHOUWBURG

Please note: On 2 February 2020 the National Holocaust Museum temporarily closed its doors for renovation. The Hollandsche Schouwburg will also close from 1 January 2021. In 2022 we hope to open a new National Holocaust Museum in these two opposite buildings.

Ets Haim is open from Monday until Tuesday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Please note: Ets Haim can only be visited by appointment.

Because Ets Haim is part of the Portuguese Municipality, the adjusted opening hours of the Portuguese Synagogue also apply to Ets Haim.
