Recent additions to the collection in the Art Gallery

Every year, the Jewish Cultural Quarter’s collection is enriched with dozens of artworks and historical and religious objects and hundreds of photographs and archival documents. Some of these items are purchased by the museum, but the majority are gifts from generous donors. 

This presentation in the art cabinet brings together acquisitions from the past five years, ranging from contemporary art to objects from Jewish businesses and associations. A special category consists of objects from the Second World War and personal items that serve as tangible reminders of victims of the Holocaust or Shoah. 

The presentation is on view from 123 October 2026 until 11 April 2027 in the Art Gallery at the Jewish Museum.
