Your donation helps
Every day people from around the world visit the Jewish Cultural Quarter. Our locations are a homecoming for Jewish visitors and a marvellous new discovery for non-Jewish visitors.
We have in our care the Netherlands largest collection of Jewish heritage. With your donation you can help pass that legacy to future generations. You can enable exhibitions, educational projects, research and restorations.
We value your contribution however large or small.
Select a format that suits you
Leaving a sum or an object in your will is a special way to support us. Are you considering making the Jewish Cultural Quarter a beneficiary? There are several ways to do that.
With a testamentary disposition you can make the Friends of the Jewish Cultural Quarter foundation or Hollandsche Schouwburg foundation your (joint) heir. The Jewish Cultural Quarter will receive part of your estate alongside any other beneficiaries.
A legacy is a gift or sum specified in your will. If you want that money to be devoted to a particular purpose, you can make a specific legacy. An unspecified legacy allows us to decide how to allocate your donation.
If you want to support a specific part of the Jewish Cultural Quarter, like I ASK, or one of our locations, why not set up a dedicated fund. You can name the fund yourself and specify how the Jewish Cultural Quarter uses your legacy.
You can set up a dedicated fund at any time, or specify its purpose in your will. The minimum sum is €50,000.
We have a large collection and an active collection policy. We welcome donations of objects.

Do you want to back a specific exhibition or do you think it’s important that as many people as possible get to see an exhibition?
Make a donation to the Jonas Daniël Meijer Fund.
The Jonas Daniël Meijer Fund supports exhibitions at the Jewish Cultural Quarter. Donations are welcome from €25,000 (or five annual installments of €5,000).
