Benefactors National Holocaust Museum and Hollandsche Schouwburg

Broad support from society, both in the Netherlands and abroad.

The recruitment campaign for the realization of the National Holocaust Museum, which we started in 2016, has already generated € 30 million, including € 4.8 million of expected own income. We acquired contributions from, among others, the Ministry of VWS, the Municipality of Amsterdam, the German Bundestag, VriendenLoterij, Mondriaan Fund in the context of the Cabinet's arrangement on the occasion of 75 years of freedom, Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, VSBfonds, BPD Cultuurfonds, NS , Philips, De Nederlandsche Bank and various small funds. Very special are the contributions of the Governors from the Netherlands, the United States and Israel. These private donors each donated at least € 100,000, set a good example for others and have raised € 4 million to date.

We also received support from businesses in the Netherlands, government bodies, private funds and civil society organisations from the United States, Switzerland and Germany.
