Benefactors Nationaal Holocaust Museum and Hollandsche Schouwburg

The contributions from governments, businesses, and individuals from both domestically and internationally, illustrates the widespread societal backing for the new museum.

The recruitment campaign for the realisation of the National Holocaust Museum has generated a substantial amount. We acquired contributions from, among others, the Ministry of VWS, the Municipality of Amsterdam, the German Bundestag, VriendenLoterij, Mondriaan Fund in the context of the Cabinet's arrangement on the occasion of 75 years of freedom, het Cultuurfonds, VSBfonds, BPD Cultuurfonds, NS , Philips, De Nederlandsche Bank and various small funds.

Particularly noteworthy are the contributions of the Governors from the Netherlands, the United States and Israel.

We also received support from businesses in the Netherlands, government bodies, private funds and civil society organisations from the United States, Switzerland and Germany.
