Open for everyone
The Jewish Museum knowledge and resource centre is open for everyone. You'll find all kinds of information about Jewish culture and history here. All the material is available to study in the reading room. Unfortunately, none of the items may be borrowed.
The knowledge center is located in the Hollandsche Schouwburg and is open to everyone. You'll find all kinds of information about the persecution of Jews.
The focus here is on digital resources. You can delve into the stories, objects, videos, and photos exhibited at the National Holocaust Museum. You can also view more than 60,000 video testimonies. Notably, there is access to the entire Visual History Archive of the USC Shoah Foundation and the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies.
A small selection of books is available for on-site consultation. Additionally, you can ask for assistance with your family history research and you can make use of the Digital Jewish Monument.
The testimonies in this knowledge center are not available to listen to with open sound. Would you prefer to watch a testimony together or without headphones? You can do so in the special video room at the Jewish Museum knowledge and resource centre.
