The Persecution of the Jews in Ten Stages
This is the first of twelve episodes made to accompany the exhibition The Persecution of the Jews in Photographs: The Netherlands, 1940-1945 at the National Holocaust Museum (Amsterdam) and Topography of Terror (Berlin). In this podcast series, the persecution of the Jews is broken down in ten stages of genocide, as drawn up by American law professor Gregory Stanton. Ten photographs, representing the ten stages, are discussed by the curators of the exhibition, followed by excerpts from interviews with survivors.
