Throw a cool party at the JCQ

Is it nearly time for your birthday?
Surprise your friends with a party at the JHM Children’s Museum!

The Hollander Family’s “house,” with its three floors, is the perfect place for children’s party. There is plenty to do: from playing musical instruments in the music room to baking some festive hallah in the kitchen. And there is naturally a present for the birthday girl or boy!

You can choose between two parties: Party Cup or Mazzel Bingo

Do you enjoy creative activities? In the Fiep Westendorp Studio you can paint your own glass party cup! In the music room you can sing and conduct a party song, and in the kitchen you can make your own festive hallah.

For whom? For children aged 6 to 10. Up to a maximum of 12 children per party.
Duration: 2 hours
Costs: €150 including admission for the children plus two adults, supervision by museum staff, a present for the birthday girl or boy, glass party cups and hallah bread rolls for each child, and coffee or tea for the adults.

Extra: For an additional €40 the children can come to the museum café either before or after the party to enjoy brownies and lemonade (plus coffee/tea for the adults). For €55 the JHM will provide a cake instead of brownies.

Lucky bingoMazzel Bingo

Do you like games? Then a Mazzel Bingo party would be just the thing for you. With the Mazzel Bingo treasure hunt you can explore the JHM Children’s Museum together and play Mazzel Bingo in the Fiep Westendorp Studio.

For whom? For children aged 6 to 10. Up to a maximum of 10 children per party.

BirthdaypartyGeneral Information

  • Location: The JHM Children’s Museum is within the Jewish Historical Museum (Nieuwe Amstelstraat 1, 1011 PL, Amsterdam).
  • Bringing and fetching the children: The safest place to bring your children is to the parking lot at Jonas Daniël Meijerplein 2 next to the museum.
  • Parking: There are three parking garages in the vicinity of the Jewish Cultural Quarter: Markenhoven, ParkKing Waterlooplein and Music Theater/City Hall.
  • Public Transport: The museum is easy to reach by tram or metro.
