Visit the Jewish Historical Museum

on 9, 10 & 11 April!

The Jewish Historical Museum is participating in the pilot "Testing for Access" this weekend! On 9, 10 and 11 April you can discover the history of Waterlooplein in Waterlooplein: the neighborhood inside out or get acquainted with the story behind the most famous poem about the Holocaust in A grave in the clouds, exhibition about Todesfuge by Paul Celan.

How it works: you book a ticket for the JCK at
In order to gain access to the museum, it is necessary that every visitor is tested within 40 hours before the start of their visit. Go to to schedule an appointment. Note: only test results scheduled through Test for Access will be accepted to access the JHM.

1. Book your ticket for the museum here.
2. Then make a test appointment at for a free test. Please note: the test result may be a maximum of 40 hours old when you enter the museum.
3. Testing is only possible after an appointment via at a specially designated test location.
- Only a negative test via is valid: a vaccination certificate, a negative test from another test location or a negative self-test do not count as test evidence.
- After the test you will receive the test result by e-mail within an hour.
3. Download the CoronaCheck app on your smartphone from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
4. Enter the code that you received in the email with the test result in the CoronaCheck app: you will immediately receive a digital test certificate.
5. On the booked day and time, visit the Jewish Historical Museum and bring the test certificate in the CoronaCheck app (the negative test result), your JCK entrance ticket and your ID.

NB. Children up to the age of 12 do not need to take a test.
