Israeli actor Amichai Pardo unfolds in You Shall Tell Your Son an amazing story of escape and heroism, using a unique heirloom: 36 colorful paintings that his grandmother painted, and a diary she wrote, depicting a 15,000 km route of survival.
Pardo’s grandmother escaped with her family from Krakow in 1939 and arrived in Jerusalem in December 1942. Projecting the images of these colorful, naïve, detailed paintings, Pardo narrates in a creative and multidimensional way the story of the Jewish people before and during WWII.
Because of the renovation of the National Holocaust Museum, from February 23th onwards events related to the Shoah take place in the auditorium of the Jewish Historical Museum.
