Concert in the Dreamforest by Matthijs van Delft (guitar)

Sunday, January 12, 12.00-14.15

Eli Content made a dream forest out of waste cardboard for the attic of the Children's Museum. It is a forest where the world is turned upside down, full of strange and clownish figures. A forest where trees and people are so connected that you hardly see where the people stop and the trees begin.

For music lovers, young prize winners of the Princess Christina Competition give mini concerts in the Dream forest.

On Sunday 12 January, guitarist Matthijs van Delft (2005) will play three mini-concerts. Matthijs started playing guitar at the age of seven. He sees the short concerts that he gave in May 2019 at the Royal Palace on Dam Square as his musical highlight. In 2019 he won the first prize of the first category in the regional final of the Princess Christina Competition in Rotterdam and he reached the National Semi-Final in The Hague. This year he won the third prize in the category 13 to 17 years old of the Young Talent Competition in Maassluis.
