Documentary that answers the question: How do violence, war and oppression influence an artist's work? Based on the life and work of four artists from different cultures: Marina Abramovic, Sigalit Landau, Katharina Sieverding and Shirin Neshat. To express their art, all four of them have chosen the most personal and direct material at their disposal: their bodies.
