Sensory-friendly evening
Language: Dutch or English
Location: National Holocaust Museum
Time: 5.30pm - 8.00pm
What is it like when everything is taken from you? Not just your right and freedom, but also your possessions? The dual exhibition Looted is about the loss of Jewish cultural property in the Netherlands. Eight personal stories make palpable what the theft of cultural assets means under inhumane conditions.
A museum visit may provide (too) many stimuli. We are therefore organising a sensory-friendly evening for the exhibition Looted. During this evening in the National Holocaust Museum you can visit the exhibition and the permanent museum presentation.
The opening is after the regular opening hours so there will be fewer visitors, half the regular capacity. We ensure dimmed lights in the reception areas and as little open noise as possible. Do you have any questions? Send us an email.
Admission: museum ticket with a time slot.
