Make your own ‘wish-case'

Ages: 6 to 12 years old
Jewish Museum junior
Time: 2.00pm - 3.30pm
A mezuzah is a small case that is attached to doorframes in Jewish homes. Each mezuzah is unique and often decorated in a special way because Jews believe it’s important to make ritual objects look beautiful. Inside the mezuzah, there’s a tiny parchment scroll with a verse from the Torah. It’s an important object to Jews.
In this workshop, you’ll get to decorate your own small case. Once it’s ready, you can write down something meaningful to you and place it inside.
Parents/guardians are not present at this activity! Pre-registration is necessary, buy a ticket online.
Admission: free + museum ticket
