Screening documentary 'Vergeet je naam' (Forget Your name)

Film screening
June 14

Five Holocaust survivors talk about how they escaped death at a very young age by going into hiding. Not being noticed was of vital importance, a small misstep could be fatal. For themselves, but also for the parents in hiding who took care of them. The living memories painfully reflect how children sensed that there was danger and that they had no choice how to deal with it. The last testimonies of this generation are stories that must continue to be shared.

This film screening is organised as part of the exhibition Forget your name, which can be seen until July 7 in the Kunstkabinet of the Jewish Museum.
The film will also be shown on Friday, April 19 at 2pm and May 17 at 2pm.
