On the last Friday of the series of film screenings as part of the exhibition Charlotte Salomon in close-up, two films about the life and work of Charlotte Salomon will be shown.

The color palette in this animated film is based on the watercolor paintings that Salomon made. Simple strokes of the pen create suggestions of love, sex, life and death. The voice cast included renowned actors such as Keira Knightley, Brenda Blethyn and Jim Broadbent.
